HI, my name is Darijan (Yetti) A. Rice. I was first introduced to photography by a friend that I went to church with. Neither of us were any good but he had a decent camera and I liked the idea of a lasting memory,freezing history in a photo. I was reintroduced to photography at the Phoenix High School Photography program. My teacher was phenomenal, inspiring and motivating. Mrs.Raffolovich pushed me in the right directions because she saw the passion I have for photography. I've entered some of my work in Scholastic Art Awards (S.A.A.), Atlanta Celebrates Photography (A.C.P), Shutter Sense & Non-sense (S.S.N.S), Pace Academy Photography Awards (P.A.P.A.), Atlanta High School Art Awards (A.H.S.A.A), Tapestry, and Congressional Art Awards (C.A.A.). I love classic techniques, but I’m intrigued by the lighting and colors in photos. I love taking something ordinary and re-imagining it.
Ive been dancing since i can remember.I love expressing my emotions through dance. I love all forms of art and i will continue to learn and widen my horizon.
